About

Dobrý den, we are I love Praag / I Love Krakow — a young Dutch, English and German tour operator guiding visitors through Europe's open-air museum. As a club of the most experienced local guides, we run walking tours across Prague, Krakow, Brno, Cesky Krumlov and Bratislava. Many of our guides bring more than 10 years of on-the-ground experience and have worked for the largest tour operators in their cities. After feeling out of place at bigger companies, these guides joined together at I Love Praag to offer a fresher, more personal way to explore the capitals we love and share their stories.

Our tours are led by a club of the most experienced local guides. Many have more than 10 years of guiding experience and have worked for the largest tour operators in the region.

What is I Love Praag / I Love Krakow?

We are a young Dutch, English and German tour operator formed as a group of experienced guides. The company brings together guides who wanted a new, more personal approach to touring these capitals.

What kind of tours do you offer?

We specialise in walking tours that treat each city like an open-air museum. Tours focus on local history, landmarks and stories shared by seasoned guides.

Why did you start this company?

We started I Love Praag because we love these European capitals and wanted to present them differently. Our guides had felt out of place at larger companies and sought an interesting new challenge together.

De gids Alaa deed een aantal stops aan die we anders niet hadden tegengekomen. Zijn uitleg was kort. Door er zelf naar te vragen wisten we dat hij niet afkomstig was van Praag maar er wel woont. Er was weinig interactie met de groep. Voor de toer start even elkaar voorstellen is altijd leuk zodat je dan weet waar iedereen vandaan komt

We hebben einde van de middag met huig een tour gedaan. Hij heeft alles goed verteld en veel achtergrond informatie gegeven. We zijn bij veel bezienswaardigheden geweest (bijv. De Charles brug, de kerstmarktjes, universiteit, de klok, de markt van de beste typische koekjes en nog meer). We konden alles vragen en hij had overal antwoord op. Echt een aanrader!

Onze gids Julka was zeer goed op de hoogte van de geschiedenis van Praag, werd ook met veel enthousiasme overgebracht. We waren een kleine groep dus alles verliep zeer vlot! Een aanrader!
